Welcome to
Paul Jacobs’ Official Website
Paul Jacobs is a passionate advocate, speaker, and fundraiser dedicated to inspiring others through his remarkable journey. His life is a testament to resilience, determination, and the belief that no obstacle is insurmountable. Through public speaking, charity work, and personal challenges, Paul demonstrates that adversity is not a barrier to success—it is an opportunity to rise above.
Public Speaking & Advocacy
As a dynamic public speaker, Paul shares his story with audiences across the country, delivering a powerful message of perseverance and hope. Whether addressing young people, veterans, or corporate professionals, he emphasises that everyone has the potential to achieve greatness, regardless of the challenges they face.
His philosophy is simple: It’s about ability, not disability. Paul is particularly passionate about inspiring young foster children, showing them that their past does not define their future. His advocacy work extends beyond words—he actively participates in mentorship programmes and community initiatives, ensuring that young people have the support and encouragement needed to thrive.

Honoured with the George Medal
Navigating life with blindness, Paul has never allowed limitations to dictate his journey. He took up boxing as part of his recovery, excelling in the sport and demonstrating the power of resilience. His personal mantra, “Seeing Beyond Sight,” embodies his belief that vision extends beyond the physical—it is about perspective, determination, and growth.
As a respected soldier poet, Paul has been honoured for his literary contributions, with his poem Fallen Saints chosen by David Dimbleby to close BBC1’s Remembrance Sunday broadcast. His poignant words have also been featured at the Royal British Legion’s Festival of Remembrance, where he opened the event with a moving citation.
Charity Work & Community Impact
Paul’s dedication to helping others is at the heart of everything he does. His charity efforts began with an overnight trek across Yorkshire, raising £10,000 for Blind Veterans UK. Since then, he has continued to raise vital funds for veterans, orphans, and young people in foster care, providing them with essential resources, rehabilitation equipment, and support.
Through his innovative approach, Paul uses blindfold exercises to help foster carers and children understand the challenges of visual impairment. His mission is clear: to ensure that every young person feels seen, heard, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Project Eye Believe – Climbing the World’s Highest Mountains
In 2023, Paul launched Project Eye Believe, an ambitious challenge to climb 10 of the highest mountains around the world. His journey has already seen him conquer Mount Kilimanjaro, raising over £5,500 for charity. He has also walked across Norway and completed an extraordinary 500-mile tandem bicycle ride from Edinburgh to London in just five days.
Through these incredible feats, Paul continues to push boundaries, inspire others, and raise significant funds for causes close to his heart.
